Nanny Share Charlestown/North End/Cambridge

Hi Ladies!  My husband and I are expecting our first child in May 2014 (yes it's early to be posting, but I've heard how hard it can be to find good care).  I've heard great things about nanny shares and wanted to know if there were any other moms or moms-to-be interested in participating in one with us.  Any pointers are also welcome from the veterans in the group.  Thanks!! - Sarah

    When would you be looking for the nanny share to start?

    I'm due in March and would need a nanny starting in May...

    I'd love to talk more! We're in Oak Square in Brighton (on Newton line).

    Hi!  We are in Charlestown and not looking for a nanny to start until end of July (due in May).  Does Brighton have a mother's association?  (Charlestown does and it's been a wealth of information).  Good luck!!!

    Hi all. We are in Inman Square in Cambridge, and are due in May '14 as well. We would probably want to start care at the end of July or August. If any of you would like to to discuss this further, please let me know! It's never to early to start looking and setting things in motion!

    Hi Sarah, I live in Charlestown and will be due June 4th. I love the idea of nanny sharing, much better option for newborns than the big daycare centers. I guess we would be starting a month after you, late August. Have you done any research on nanny's in the area?

    Hello,

    We live in Medford and are also interested in a nanny share, starting in early March. Of course, we could start "sharing" a little later. If anyone is interested, please message me. Local resources would be greatly appreciated, also!
