I rec'd a flu shot Friday a.m. and it still hurts and I'm worried. The first and only other time I received the vax was in 2008 which caused a huge (2.5 in) cyst in my arm resulting in an ER trip and drs visits every month for a yr. My dr (a different one than 2008) convinced me to get the flu vax this yr stating the debacle of '08 was a fluke.
Why does my arm still hurt? Why can I feel a slight bump? If I get a cyst on my other arm and another noticeable scar I'm cutting them off.

DH just left on a trip for the rest of the week. I think I'm getting sick again. Boo.
I am frustrated that I can't lose weight, and disgusted with the way I look. DD2 is still up at night, and it makes it really hard to get up at 5 to work out, but that's the only time I have.
I want to hang my new curtains in my dining room this week, but I hurt my neck and I don't think I can lift them onto the curtain rod by myself. They're very heavy.
I am turning 30 this week. I am not happy about this.
Happy (early) birthday!!! I have to say, my 30's have been fabulous so far (I just turned 38). So much better than my 20's. Enjoy! It's just a number... <:-P
I have a sinus infection so bad it is making my tooth throb. I have a meeting every day after school this week, and comments due on Friday (think a paragraph about each of my 50 students), AND I just got back from three 18 hour days of supervising 90 8th graders in DC. Screw anyone who says teaching is easy.
I had started running a couple months ago to train for a 1/2 marathon in November. I have been having neck/back issues that are now radiating pain down into my hips. I haven't been able to run in 2 weeks and pretty sure my running is coming to an abysmal halt.
Also my nails and cuticles look like shit. I can't seem to leave them alone while I'm at work and when I try to "fix" them, it just makes them worse and now they are all down to the quick (besides the booger picker, pinky nail)
It is impossible to get DH out the door to go anywhere. We have to practically be in the car, buckled in with it running before he'll even consider get ready to go. He doesn't want to have to wait on DS. Um, he's got that backwards. I think we all know how antsy kids get if you get them ready to go and then make them wait. He also won't help pack and load the car to go on a roadtrip, and vice versa when we return.
To add to that, I ran an errand with his mom and sister the other night and he was left home with DS (almost 5) and his cousin (5 1/2) On his watch, they got into some dry erase markers, "decorated" the toy storage in MILs living room and DS' arms, shirt, pants and socks. When I told him it might not wash out, he told me that my niece told him they could lick it off. Who believes crap like that from a child?! WHO?

I'm such a whiner today.
