In Hiding

So, several of my friends all send their kids to a private preschool. We all socialize frequently and Lincoln has twice been exposed to a nasty virus going around the school. I know logically I can't prevent this sort of stuff but I don't care, I am in total hiding. No church, no Lifegroup, nothing. I am still paying off his hospitalization from last December! :'( We went to Walmart yesterday and I used like three Clorox wipes on the cart and made LIncoln help me wipe it down. Thankfully he already asks to wash his hands thirty times a day!

    DS1 started preschool in sept and we have all been sick already. It really sucks so I'd be in hiding too.

    I had been considering putting Lincoln is preschool now for 6 hours a week so he would get some additional stimulation but now I am convinced I'd better not! LOL!

    Lol... I totally know what you mean. I always have reservations about hanging out with our nephews because of their daycare germs. We always get something, I dread it. After seeing them on a weekend, I'm always on edge for like three days waiting for a cold or the pukes to kick in.

    Ugh, this is us.  DH's cousin has three kids, and they're probably our closest friends with kids.  But they all go to the daycare where she is a director, and I swear, at least one of their kids is ALWAYS sick.  And it's not always just a cold, they have unusual illnesses like mono and staph infections and shit like that.  No thank you!  I'm always worried for days after we see them.
