Ectopic Pregnancy is a scary thing:/

I went in for an ultrasound today and was told that I had an ectopic pregnancy.  It was hard to see the heartbeat and know that the baby was healthy and then they just had to remove it. I went in right away for surgery and they had to remove part of my fallopian tube as well as the baby because it had already started to rupture. They said the tube can stretch about 4 centimeters and mine had already stretched about 3.5. If I had waited until I was 8 weeks like most people do to have their first OB appointment it probably would have ruptured and could have been life-threatening for me. I am glad that I insisted on going in early. It has been a lot to take in and we are very saddened about the loss, but we are thankful that they removed it in time. The doctor said my left tube is still healthy and i should be able to conceive again in the future with that one. This really sucks:(

    I am so sorry for you loss! I had the same thing. It does get better. Slowly, take things one day at a time. I hope you are recovering well. My thoughts and prayers are with you. ((Hugs))
