I was wondering if anyones baby has done this. Last night she was screaming every time we put her down. She would also scream and cry even when being held and this went on for several hours. Has anyone had this happen and can give some advice? TIA

Did your cut a tooth soon after? Our little girl has been a huge slobber for months now so I know teething is soon but not sure about the cutting a tooth

No teeth have popped out yet. But we've had inflamed cheeks and LO is chewing mightily on anything he can get his mouth on, including us! This is going on 2 weeks now, I'm expecting to see a tooth somewhere any second now.
PS- we started using baby ibuprofen at night in addition to teething tabs to help LO get back to sleep and eat his bottle. Both of these have really helped a LOT! I also have cool teething rings in the fridge, a sophie the giraffe rubber teething ring and frozen wash cloths for him to chew on.
We had a few nights of "what the hell is going on, who replaced our child w/a pooping demon?" before we figured out it was teething. Mainly b/c he hasn't had any teeth pop out yet, so as FTP, we are totally second guessing ourselves. The medication has really helped LO to be more comfortable and everyone get more sleep!
This was us last night as well. She also sleeps through the night and still does except last night and it was miserable. Today she seems fine. UGH I hope tonights better!

Sounds like possible ear infection - laying them down exacerbates it. Might be worth a quick call to doctor to see what else to keep an eye on

What about panicking? Last night Ava woke up almost every hour in an almost hyperventilating panic. She'd calm down and go back to sleep when I let her nurse but would wake up a short time later panicking again. It's terrible and i feel helpless. She has been getting really congested at night and I wonder if they're connected? She doesn't have a fever and has been in a great mood during the day.

Our guess is teething. She wants extra snuggles and has been very attached to me.
We have been using Tylenol.
