meds at daycare

I know every place is different but maybe you all can provide some guidance based on your experience. My LO was sick over the weekend and prescribed antibiotics. Can I send her to daycare on Monday with the meds and ask they give it to her or do I need to provide them with a doctors note?
I couldn't find any info on their paperwork except for their fever regulations.

I'm sure it varies per center. It's best you check with them. At my center, they'll only administer meds that are prescribed to be taken 4 or more times a day.

They have to have licensed I believe, and usually it is only someone in the office. Usually there are other forms that the doctor's office has to provide too. When LO had antibiotics ours had to be refrigerated and given twice a day. I gave it before we left and when we got home. When she had eye drops that were 3x a day, i gave them to LO myself before we left daycare and then. before she went to bed & when she woke up.

My center requires a drs note for all meds; antibiotics, Tylenol,etc...

My Daycare will only administer if medication is required more than 2x a day (as those doses should be done at home, unless it's a with meals thing). All medications require a doctor's note with medication name, dosing schedule, dose amount, application instructions (by mouth, apply to skin, etc), start and stop date of medication and doctor signature and contact info.
