3 weeks post cerclage removal

So I haven't posted in a while; however, had a rescue cerclage put in at week 21, was on bedrest for a couple weeks, then slowly allowed to resume "normal" activity.  Had the cerclage removed at week 37 and guess what...due date is tomorrow!  Still hoping that my supposed incompetent cervix is good for something when it comes to the actual labor.  Right now, just trying hard to be patient for our little guy to make his appearance.  Hope this serves as an encouragement to any of you with similar situations.

    Oh wow.. cant believe its been 3wks still no baby. I am suppose to get mine removed on the 24th and I am thinking about pushing the day back because i am scared to go into labor before my baby shower on the 26th.

    Great news, I love hearing success stories.  I got mine in last month on week 14, I am now almost 18 weeks and so far my cervix is measuring long.  I pray it stays that way, and I make it to my removal.  I hope you don't have to wait too much longer!

     My Pregnancy/Parenting BLOG TTC since 5/2011, BFP #1 12/3/11, M/C 12/7/11 @ 4wks 2d. Began seeing RE Sep 2012. October 2012 Metformin 1500 mg= ovulation on CD34 BFP#2 11/14/12 9DPO, EDD 7/26/13, DX Gestational Diabetes @14 wks, our angel born sleeping 3/24/13 @ 22wks 2d. BFP #3 7/4/13 8DPO EDD 3/22/14, DX Gestational Diabetes @14 wks. started insulin @16 wks.  Our rainbow, born 3/19/14 @ 39wks 6d., we're so in love!

    Thank you so much for sharing!  I got mine put in at 21 weeks as well.  Hearing success stories bring a lot of hope.  :)

    I'm now 2 days past EDD which seems silly but as my doctor says, would rather be on this end vs. what we were facing at 21 weeks!!  Praying now for no induction as we'd love to go as natural as possible, and seriously, that would be the ultimate irony after the cerclage :)

    Mine was a preventive so it was 4.5cm pre-cerclage

    Same thing happened to me. Cerclage for both pregnancies and went to 39 and 40 weeks and still needed pitocin to get my contractions started.
