This is my first pregnancy. I'm 28 weeks pregnant and significantly overweight (I was overweight before getting pregnant, and as expected have gained some additional weight). I've been feeling some things that I am pretty positive are movement, but not necessarily definite kicks (at least as my pregnant friends have described. note- friends are not overweight) So....I guess my question is, is my weight affecting how I feel the baby move/kick, or is it just too soon yet to feel definite kicks? I plan to ask my Dr at my appointment tomorrow, but was hoping to get some additional thoughts and feedback.

Also you should ask doctor tomorrow about staring kick counts. When you focus I bet you'll feel more than you think. I know I did.
Can I ask something off topic?? I am overwieght too and having a hell of a time finding maternity clothes - for plus size. I have been to the Motherhood outlet in my area (MD) and it SUCKS! The few items I have found and re-ware are from Old Navy. Can you all help with other suggestions???
