XP: Recommend your Nursing Bra

I went to Motherhood and got measured today... 34 F.  Which of course is a size they do not carry.  Since the next closest store to me that would carry that size is pretty far away, I'm thinking about ordering a few bras on Amazon since I'm comfortable with their return policy.

So my fellow big boobed ladies
recommend your favorite nursing bra for a girl that seriously needs some support!

I have some cute ones, but my favorite and most comfortable are from lactation connection and they are bravado brand.

  • 34H here.  I went to Nordstrom and was fitted.  I have Elomi.  I love them! Also, I happen to look on Amazon while nursing DS in their family room and found the bras $15 cheaper.  Needless to say, I went with Amazon.  I had Bravado before with no wire and the support just didn't work for me.  With DS1 I had Anita but I had issues with the wire poking through the top after some use.  Basically, when I would unclip to pull out my boob, the weight of it would pull on the fabric and then the wire eventually wore through.
Elomi is my favorite for support and comfort!

  • 32G I just bought Anita's they are super supportive but like pp said I can see the wire poking through in the future.
  • 36 G here and I also love the Anita but without underwire. I was skeptical about a non-underwire bra providing the support I needed but they work great, I can't tell a difference. I wish I had checked amazon before buying at the store, they're $20 less than what I paid.
