What a weekend! (Update)

As some of you know, I have had a rough go of it so far; from finding out I was pg during what I thought was a miscarriage to being told last Friday that my dr didn't think it was a viable pregnancy due to my hcg levels not doubling soon enough. Well today I ended up in the ER.
Last night, H and I had sex and I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. In the middle of the night, I got up to use the bathroom and passed a rather big clot, followed by some brownish blood, enough that I used a tampon.
I was extremely upset thinking that it was all over. When H woke up, I was a mess! I was crying uncontrollably and he was upset as well. After he left for work (I insisted he go), I decided I wanted to go to the ER and get some answers. (I normally avoid the ER at all cost so please don't think I'm someone who goes there for a cut) H called an hour after he left and said he was coming home and we should go.
Long story short (kind of), they ran my hcg levels and they came back in the 5800's (from 2410 on Thursday). They also did an ultrasound which showed a perfectly intact gestational sack and the tiniest heartbeat!! I cried seeing it on the monitor. It was too small to get and accurate heart rate but they said I am 6w1d along. I am on pelvic rest for a few weeks and need to follow-up with my OB tomorrow but for now, I am over the moon happy!

A heartbeat! Eek! That must have been so exciting.
Sorry it was such a rollercoaster but what an awesome outcome. I feel like you've been off to such a crazy start so far, I hope the rest is smooth sailing!!!
