Any idea what this could be?

My DS has a pink ring around his shin. Two of them actually close together. At first I thought it was an indention from his socks (thats what it looks like) but it's not and it's been about two weeks since I first noticed it. I though maybe it was a scratch too from walking around outside but its not. Its not raised, bumpy, or seems to bother him. It really just looks like an indention from a sock. Any ideas as to what this could be? It almost goes all the way around his leg. Thanks.

    I would take him to the doctor. Like the pp said I thought ring worm, but it could also be a spider or tick bite given the time of year. I would lo checked just in case, but that's just me.

    It doesn't look anything like ring worm because it literally goes all around his shin. I will call tomorrow. It really just looks like a sick indent but I know it's not and it's not indented.
