2IF treatments are logistical nightmares

Here is why,
Went in at 6am for b/w and u/s and was ready to trigger last night.  3 follies, 2 good ones on my tubeless side.. figures.

But anyway, I forgot to ask for the collection cup and the clinic is 1h w/o traffic from us so driving there to get a cup felt ridic.  So I spent lunch break at a drug store and then my PCP trying to get a cup. Which I did get.

But just the logistics of getting the sample, DH needs help, he has spasticity in his hands so holding a cup is challenging for him.  Thus, I need to be there when *ahem* its time, so in-office sample was a no go.  Also, we have to tip toe around sleeping beauty because lately, she is waking up at 5am. Gah.....

Please let this be our month. I have never wanted anything so badly.

*vent over*

    Well mine aren't nearly as bad as yours... yet.  But morning sex, as requested by the doctor, is just NOT going to happen.  My toddler wakes at 5:15am and DH isn't quick about things when it's forced/timed sex.  Sigh...

    I feel your pain! MH was away on business the first few days I had monitoring. I had to be there at 5:30 in order to have blood work and an u/s so that I'd have time to get home and get DD ready for day care. The biggest issue though was trying to figure out how the hell I could leave at 5:30 AM while DD was sleeping. Thankfully my brother stayed over a few nights, but seriously, it's a nightmare!

    That is rough!! :( I hope this is your cycle! I am not as far as you into treatments yet but our RE is also an hour away so when/if we do get to that point, I can see it being a nightmare too!

    Thanks ladies for commiserating with me!

    I was able to get DH off this morning with the sample and had my IUI at 10am.

    Deets: 110 million sperm count, 23 and 16 mm follies on the right (tubeless side) and 14 mm on the left.  

    Trying to feel hopeful.

    I'm jealous too. We have 6  million to work with.  Luckily DH is very independent.  I had to time everything getting kids ready for school and arrange time off from a new job.

    Sounds like you have good numbers, good luck!
    TTC #2 since 2011 (took 1.5 years to conceive spontaneously after multiple failed clomid cycles and 1 failed clomid +IUI)
    Me- PCOS, borderline hypothyroid
    Him- low concentration/count

    Feb 2014- started acupuncture
    Feb 2014- BFP
    March 2014- m/c @ 5 weeks
    May 2014- HSG, all clear, started Synthroid, Femara 5mg CD 3-7 + trigger + TI= BFN
    Waiting for new RE appointment end of July 2014
