Wahoo

I just saw your reply to the Halloween post.  Tonight I posted this on FB and did not know if you have seen it but it applies to you.  I really hope we get a nice Halloween this year although my kids did enjoy Trunk or Treat last year.  The article says the weather might be bad but right now my area says high of 62 and low of 40.  I just cannot believe it is almost a year already.

Re: Wahoo

  • Thank you!  I am going to post the article on FB, too!

I didn't even mention the year before Sandy, but it was actually the second year in a row that our schools were closed for Halloween.  DS was bummed last year because his grade was supposed to walk across the stage during the halloween parade, and they completely cancelled the parade.  Some classes didn't even have parties.  I know it sounds small when people lost their homes, their cars, but 2nd graders don't understand that.

I am sending you Halloween mojo!

  • You know it never even crossed my mind that Hurricane Sandy hit around Halloween. And I didn't know about Snowtober. The article was entertaining to read. I hope this year, things go better for y'all.
