Reflux & formula

What formula is your baby on that makes the reflux a bit better? Like I mentioned in another post my 6 wk old son is on enfamil ar but now every time he vomits or burps it smells like rotten eggs (nasty I know). Also, he started with diarrea. I called his ped and he said that formula could cause that smell but its ok and the diarrea might be because of the zantac. I'm getting a second opinion on Monday but I wish I could swich his formula and not make the reflux worse since the enfamil ar has helped alot with that.

    For my DS's reflux we use Enfamil Newborn with rice cereal added to it. Plus he is to be on his stomach to sleep and whatever he is sleeping in has to be elevated and inclined. His is 5 weeks old and have even doing it for 3 weeks now. It is definitely working since he weighed 9lbs 8oz at his 2 week visit and now he weighs 12lbs 2oz. Plus we hardly have any spit ups. We just make sure he burps really good after every feeding. All of this was recommended by our pediatrician.

    Enfamil's Nutramigen

     

    We made the switch more due to the fact that she just couldn't tolerate regular or even sensitive formulas, but it also improved how she reacted when she did/does reflux.

    Similac for spit up ... Has the rice starch just like enfamil ar
