DH gets paid hourly. Last pay period the secretary put in 10 extra hours when she calculated his check. He deposited it and then told her. She then adjusted his pay and this pay period he was paid 10hrs less to offset her mistake.
What would you have done? Part of me would have wanted to keep the money, even though I know that's not the right thing to do. Most likely the mistake would not have been caught, but you never know... I'm proud of DH for doing the right thing, but extra money is always nice.
