Diaper preference?

Tell me what diapers you are using and if they hold a lot of pee from overnight.

We have been using Luvs, until ds was waking up soaked. We tried Huggies and I just don't like those. They sag way too much with very little in them.

I just want to find a diaper that fits, doesn't leak and does what it is supposed to.

Re: Diaper preference?

  • We use pampers overnights. They work good but ds pees a lot at night so he's always full in the morning. We use luvs, huggies, target brand, pampers-basically whatever is on sale:) but we always try to have overnight diapers just for sleep.
  • Loading the player...
  • Huggies snug and dry. B is a pee factory at night, her diapers weigh 5 pounds in the morning but she never leaks. The urine smell isn't great though, but I doubt any diaper could neutralize it completely. We've bought overnight diapers before mid size change but both claim 12 hrs of protection so we're just using regular ones day and night.

  • Huggies Little Movers slip ons here. 95% of the time, DS does not soak through overnight.

  • We use Pampers Cruisers.  I think we've had 3 leaks in about 5 months.

  • We use Pampers Swaddlers or Pampers Cruisers.  We tried Baby Dry but I didn't like them.  She does ok in Huggies during the day, but at night she leaks through them.  Luvs are the same.  We just buy Pampers.  They're more expensive but they work best for us.

  • We use seventh generation. We have never had any issues. We also use there overnight diapers which hold up great. I also heard if you didn't want to spend on overnight diapers, try to go up one size in the regular diapers for night time wear.
  • We use either Huggies Snug n Dry or Pampers Cruisers. He has only had a handful of leaks, and he is a stomach sleeper too. Sometimes I think the diaper weighs as much as him when I take it off in the morning.

  • We use the pampers overnight a size up from DS's normal size.  If we use his regular size, he soaks through.

  • We use Huggies Overnights a size up from his daytime diapers.  They hold a lot of pee.  He does have occasional leaks - like if he drinks a ton of water when he gets home from daycare, so I have been trying to limit his water intake after 5pm.  And if I goof and put the diaper on funny, then he can leak.

I agree with NeneCakies - the urine smell is terrible!

  • Right now we have some Fisher Price Happy Nights diapers which work really well (I love the daytime ones, too-- I get them on Amazon and they're pretty cheap). We've also used Pampers Baby Dry for overnights and liked those. We've used Huggies Overnights and did not like them- more prone to leaks and pee smell.
  • We use pampers baby dry, and never have had any problems. Although we haven't used a lot of different ones because dh's aunt works at a hospital and gets them at cost. Plus the one other type we tried (pampers cruisers ) he had a reaction to.

  • We use pampers cruisers during the day, and pampers baby dry at night. My kid pees A LOT, and sometimes we still have to change him in the middle of the night. He hates wet diapers.
  • We use pampers babydry for nights.  They are definately full when she wakes up but they have never once leaked and they don't smell at all.  We use parents choice during the day and she has never had a leak and we love them.   Super affordable.

  • We have always used Pampers Baby Dry with no problems!
  • We use Luvs. Tried the WalMart brand, but they are cheaper for a reason, and don't keep him dry enough, so he ends up with diaper rash.  Luvs haven't failed us yet!

  • We use Pampers Swaddlers.
  • Huggies snug and dry. Just moved up from huggies little movers. I LOVE the stretch band in the back of huggies. They don't tend to gap like some other brands of diapers do on DS.

  • We use all the different Pampers brands; Saddlers, Baby Dry and Cruisers.  The Swaddlers and Baby Dry seem to be better absorbent wise at night and the Cruisers are great during the day bc I dont find they sag as much.

This is what we use as well. We tried Huggies and Luvs when DD was getting bad diaper rashes and she leaked more in that 2 weeks of using then she had in the 13 months of her life. Needless to say we are back to the Pampers Swaddlers.
PS she sleeps 12-13hrs at night.
