Maybe this has been discussed or is a stupid question but dr. Google isn't helping me- I heard somewhere- from someone- at so e point- (I obviously can not remember, so don't know if this source was reliable) that you should not eat honey while breast feeding- I have googled it and I didn't really find an answer- so is honey not ok? Does this mean honey nut Cheerios I should avoid too (what about honey mustard?) and on that note are then any other - do not eat foods?- the only thing I've really read was stay away from broccoli and other foods that cause gas- so sorry if this has already been discussed! And thanks!
Re: Honey while breastfeeding
I have never heard of honey being unsafe while bf'ing. I have heard that LO's under the age of 1 shouldn't have honey because of the potential for botulism spores, but that doesn't apply to breast milk. Maybe that's what you're thinking of?

Yeah you must have heard about the under 1 year thing.
But you don't need to avoid broccoli or anything like that either. Just like a couple people have said above. I ate anything and everything. Broccoli, onions, dairy, really spicy food. All fine. Those are just myths - or at least from before they learned how things work.
Who the fuck are you? @scarver took my response like a champ. So fuck off.

Sorry ladies. I'm 40weeks and I guess I over reacted.
@Amjoy25, your comment seemed rude when I read it.
So I guess I misinterpreted and you weren't making fun of the OP... Instead you were making fun of ... processed food?
