I've been lurking for a while, you gals seem like a fun group so I thought I'd finally join in! 
My name is Andrea, 32 years old and married for one year.  FTM-12 weeks and EDD is May 3 (DH's birthday!)...I'm an American girl who moved to the UK to be with the husband (he's British).  We met in Vegas and did the long distance thing for about a year, he proposed, we got married and now we have a little one on the way! I go for my first scan on Tuesday and I'm soooooo excited, I can't wait because we are dying to tell everyone! 
I'm happy to be here if you'll have me!!

    Welcome!  How are you finding the UK?  I'm also American, but lived over there for a few years.  Back in the states now, but I'd love to get back there someday!

    1st BFP-8/17/12!  Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US.  D&C.
    2nd BFP-2/13/13!  Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
    3rd BFP-5/22/13!  By early June, progesterone plummeting.  Another loss.
    August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

    What a great story! Welcome! And ps this group is way better than others.
    I transferred here after my first u/s and I measured a week earlier moving my edd from April 29 to May 7 ;)

    @kate070 -I like it, but it's VERY different from home.  I'm getting use to the colder weather (coming from Central California and Vegas I loved warm weather), but the thing I can not get use to is the food.   blech!  It's just gross.  LOL. I'd also kill for a king size bed! haha  I do love how close in proximity to other countries we are and how cheap it is to travel.  We've been to quite a few places already so I'm grateful for that. 
     I really miss my mom though, yes my DH's family is technically family, but they're not really MY family.  I've been here for 10 months now and am slowly getting use to it, I can't work and I can't drive yet so that's really making it difficult for me to meet new people.  Hopefully once the baby comes I can join some play groups.  

    @leelee86--I agree!  I just think everyone here is great!
