Naked baby

I have seen a few of you post about your LO having naked tummy time or naked cuddle time. How do you manage this? I'm sure it would be good for DS to spend a little time naked so his butt can get some air, but I'm worried he's going to just pee everywhere. Do you try to prevent that or do you just let it happen and then clean up?

    I was wondering this too. If DD's diaper is off, she's peeing and/or pooping. Happens every time.
    4 years TTC including countless tests, 2 surgeries, and one failed IUI
    Scheduled IVF for April 2013--SURPRISE, don't need it! DD Born 9/7/13 
    Ectopic pregnancy Sep/Oct 2014 ended in surgery, and many trips to the ER
    Miracle #3: EDD 11/28/16

    Oh, I'd never go full on naked. I do it with her in a diaper
    BFP #1 - Mango - 6/11/12, EDD 2/22/12 Natural MC 7/15/12
    BFP #2 - Nacho - 10/14/12, EDD 6/20/13, MMC 8 weeks, D&C 11/16/12
    All testing shows both H and I are perfectly normal. Baby Nacho had triploidy. 
    Back to normal business December 2012
    BFP #3 - Froggy - 1/15/13, EDD 9/27/13 TEAM GREEN
    It's a girl! Alice - Born 9/20/13, 8lbs 2oz

    When I'm letting her butt air out I just put a pad under her and put her diaper on but not secured on and hold it open. I just sit with her and if she starts to go I hold the diaper on her.

    Not sure if this makes sense.... I'm still asleep :/

    We go naked on a piddle pad - like you'd put on a crib mattress. Laying on his tummy, if he pees, it just puddles around him, doesn't spray. So once he pees, I pick him up, clean him up, and we're either done or get a new pad. .

    Yeah, I can't do fully naked. She poops constantly and often with such force that it hits the wall if her diaper is off.

    Our nakey cuddle/play time still includes a diaper. :) I don't feel like cleaning up a big mess. I'm surprised, though, because everyone told me boys pee a lot, but even though we try to let him air out for a few minutes between diaper changes (holding the clean diaper close so we can cover him if need be), he's only peed on my husband once, himself once, and never on me. Knock on wood...

    We lay down a towel and a waterproof pad. Poor baby needs diaper-free time to help his bum heal!

    @hbirdie I hope you can dodge the pee spray. I've been peed on by my little guy more times than I can count!

    I hope I can, too! So far so good... :) The one time he peed while I was changing him, his little penis was pointing straight up so he just sprayed his shirt, his cheek, and his ear. Can't wait to tell girls someday that my handsome son once peed into his own ear. ;)

    DS always has a diaper on. He pees and poops constantly. He's done both mid diaper change and caused a huge mess. He also peed on his pedis face mid circumcision. :\">
