April 2013 Moms

what does he do for you?

Tonight I was complaining to my SO about needing to paint my toe nails. He then volunteered himself to paint them! I thought he was joking but he walked out of the room and back in with nail polish remover and nail polish....he repainted all my toes!

What fun, silly, girly things does your SO/DH do for you?!

Here he is hard at work.

  • Hahaha, that's awesome!! I just showed my husband and he told me fat chance, lol... Give your hubby a gold star from me!!
  • No way would my SO ever do that!

  • We're mid football season so I just as well don't have a husband. When he is at home though, he is the most incredible back scratcher ever. I can't wait to have my husband back.
  • Aw my hubby has done that but only while pregnant.

  • I'm thinking DS1 would do a better job painting my toes than DH! He loads the dishwasher :) does that count?

Same here and I know he only did it case I was going weekly for pedicures once I couldn't reach my toes comfortably anymore. He wanted to save money. Lol.

omg that picture is amazing! Did it come out good? I think if DH tried to paint my nails it would be like a horror show.
I came home from work today to a plate of cheeses, fruit and a glass of wine, with a love note "from Warner and Dad"... adorbs, even though wine at noon on a Saturday may not have been my first lunch choice ;)

Wine at noon on a Saturday is 100% acceptable in my book.

    I completely agree ;)

  • Let's just say I won't be wearing flip flops anytime soon ;) but I don't want to hurt his feelings so I'll leave it for a week!!

Any I think wine at any time is just fine! :)
  • My husband is a huge "help", yep he makes messes so I have something to do during the day while he is at work. :)

I can not complain he works his tail off so I can stay home and play mommy.

  • My friends from college came into town a couple weeks ago and DH insisted that I stay at the hotel room with them. A night away (even though we were local) was amazing...and even more amazing knowing he was on MOTN duty while flying solo ;) Also, he started a new job recently and has been having to travel. Each time he has brought back a little stuffed animal for DD. while I ironically hate stuffed animals - I love that he does this for her. I think it's so sweet!
