I finally get my first Opk to work and it's positive! But of course my husbands on duty! Gah! We BD yesterday but thanks Mother Nature for messing things up!
I also think you are still good to go - they can hang around for a while and I was 'educated' that it should be every other day, regardless to not impact count.
Don't let comments here get you down. We all are at different hormone levels. I cope through humor myself. Hope you and sperm donor can bd again soon
I agree with @foxyPM. The sperm donor comment is not funny. May woman depend on real donors to get pregnant and I do not think making light of that is at all humorous. And on top of that you have fine timing this cycle.
I think some people are a little less sensitive than others, honestly. My husband and I can joke about pretty much everything without getting offended. I am well aware that people need sperm donors to get pregnant, but I can also find humor in everyday life situations. I just don't see anything to get all worked up about.
Oh, she could call her DH whatever she fancies. That I couldn't care less about. I find it in poor taste that she choose to say she has "no sperm donor" and yet has fine timing. Andplusalso, Waiting to O, yo.

I really hate when people come on here are attribute what others say to their 'hormone levels', that's way more offensive than OP's sperm donor comment.

I don't think it has a lot to do with the relationship between you and dh when its being broadcast to an internet forum. My dh might not get mad about that, but it wouldn't reflect well on me to be putting it out there in the first place. As for sensitivity? I think its insensitive to suggest someone is simply too sensitive to a topic that is obviously touchy.
I think it's fine. In a group of close knit friends. But thousands of internet strangers, some of which are very likely to actually have an issue finding a sperm donor, not the right place.
That's like going into a synagogue and joking that your DH is as cheap as a Jew. You may have the humor for it, and others you know, but it's pretty offensive to throw it out to the world.

I know my DH wouldn't be offended. Just last night he asked me if he filled me up last night, or if I needed a refill. ROFL! Does that make me a sperm receptacle? Or just a baby factory?

You and your husband can call each other whatever you want. If you're both fine with it, no one else's opinion matters.
Yep, what she said. Only you and your husband know the boundaries within your relationship. Some male partners might be "butthurt" (that's a popular expression on this board, right?) at a "sperm donor" reference on an Internet message board, but my DH wouldn't. Just depends on the ins/outs of your relationship (dirty pun intended!).
Now as to your timing, it sounds like you hit O-2 or O-3, which isn't bad.
Sorry All I was off for a couple days just reading all your comments. Thanks for all your feedback! I'm sorry to have offended anyone that was not my intention. DH and I joke like that and I know he wouldn't be offended if he read it. He is the love of my life and the greatest man I am blessed to be my kids dad!
Holding out hope this cycle worked! I got the sniffles over the weekend so my temp is off and no crosshairs. Boo
Duty? What branch?
