Husband deployed and still TTC

hi, im Jessica, im 24 years old. We have been ttc for 2 years now. I have PCOS. After a year of unnecessary meds through my ob/gyn i finally got approved to see the infertility specialist. We did 4 months of clomid without any success. Finally in June i had HSG yest done, worst pain ever, we found out i have unicornuate uterus. It was devastating to hear but we are keeping our heads up. We tried one round after the diagnosis, we did iui with clomid and 2 shots. We had 2 eggs that came down, we were very excited, unfortunately it didnt take. In August my husband deployed and will be gone for 8 months. Since we just found what is wrong we didnt want to put baby making on hold. Finally in september the doctors put me on the same cycle again hoping for the same results, unfortunately there were no eggs. We added weeks after weeks of shots to try and force my body to produce eggs. Finally we got 3, we just did the artificial insemination of my husbands sperm on sunday. now i gotta take endometrin every day. im really crossing my fingers that with 3 eggs that at least one will be good and create a baby. im really nervous and trying not to think about it every second. its very difficult going through all this alone. really need some support here. any advice is well appreciated

It sounds like you're doing everything you can but it can be hard not to think about it all the time. Try to do things that you like and spend time with family/friends to keep yourself busy. This is a good place to talk to others who are feeling the same way. Good luck and I hope you get a BFP this cycle!

I feel for you! My DH works for the Department of Defense and he is constantly traveling. We froze some seamen as a little extra insurance.

It sucks! Giving shots to yourself, trying to get to all your appointments. Etc. It is kind of funny though to TTC when your hubby is not anywhere near you haha. How many people can actually say that I wonder? I am so ready for all this TTC business to be over for us. For all of us. I just want a little one.

GL IF treatments are hard enough with DH here, I couldn't imagine doing them alone.

Oh advice:

1. Can you freeze some seamen in case this go doesn't work? If so do that so you don't have to pause.

2. Try to do some things to keep you relaxed especially when your DH is away.

3. Tap into a good support network.

4. Find some activity not TTC related activity to keep your mind off of all this madness.

5. Even though your DH is not there tell him what he can do to help you. I am very clear to my DH that I need support (emotional). I even have him call the clinic or handle some of the other stupid stuff that comes up....This helps me a lot and keeps him involved in the process.

This must be very tough, especially to not have your DH by your side physically. I don't really have much advice but I knw if your DH ever gets stationed in nj the clinic I go to gives free IVF to military families stationed here. Good luck

Thank you everyone!! It has been very tough. We have frozen his sperm so I can go on without him. It is kinda weird that I'm trying to make a baby and my husband isn't here. A friend of mine who has the same conditions that i have just found out she's pregnant and they tried a week prior to me so I'm feeling kinda anxious about my results. It has been a week since the insemenation, so I have 1 more week before i can take a test or a period is supposed to occur. I don't feel any different except some off and on cramping. To make matters tougher my husband emailed me a few days ago that they will be in the field for a month, so even when I found out any news, good or bad, I cant tell him
