Praying this one doesn't develop into another yeast infection. .
Rash and diarrhea started about the same day we introduced peaches, so I'm back to giving her bananas tonight in hopes they stop her up. Any other suggestions??
But if that's not up your alley, a bath with baking soda helps. A barrier cream at each diaper change, naked time, and changing diapers often... good luck!
You probably already know this but, when my LO had a terrible diaper rash, my ped said to use a diaper cream with high zinc oxide. She recommended Triple Paste or Desitin max strength.
My MIL is an RN and she got me Clamoseptine, apparently you can ask for it at the pharmacy. You dont need an rx, but they dont put it on the shelves. Any sign of red i swiped some on, we've never had a rash. If it gets bad it might be worth a try.
If Desitin or triple paste doesn't work, my pedi suggested Bag Balm (comes in a green cube tin, not in the baby aisle, but in the lotions aisle - i found it at Walgreens). It took a few days to kick in, but it worked miracles on the acid poo. Or make a paste by mixing maalox in with bag balm or aquaphor and slather it on. The maalox will neutralize the acid from the poo.

Thanks @kgs0505! The pedi recommended liquid maalox too, dabbing that on before the triple paste. (She's looking a little better...my fingers are crossed!)
