We did, while I was at work. Dh was putting ds in his stroller so he could take our dogs for a run when a bee came up, and stung ds on the auricle portion of his ear. Poor kid screamed bloody murder, but fortunately did not have any severe reactions. His ear is swollen, Dh iced it as tolerated ( which wasn't very much), gave him Tylenol, and applied locoid cream. This happened four hours ago, and he seems better at this point, except for some redness and inflammation. I called the ped, and they recommended Benadryl; anyone give their baby this yet? I'm a nurse, peds isn't my specialty, but the recommended dosage seems high. Lucas weighs 17lbs 9 oz, and they said 4mls, does anyone know the correct dose? Dr. Google has a ton of conflicting info. Thank you in advance for any help! I may not even give the Benadryl if he seems fine, but was wondering what doses those of you who have had to use it administered.
