Oh man! The gag reflex is on full alert! Holy cow! I can't even keep my tooth brush in my mouth for 10 seconds without gagging. Anyone else having this problem?
Yes! I had this happen yesterday and I thought it was just me. I was gagging for 5 min. and could not stop then felt sick for hours afterwards. Luckily it went away, but have been careful with brushing my teeth ever since.
Oh this has been a problem almost the whole time for me. The other day I was the sickest I have ever been, and I'm nearly 15 weeks. Some days it's worse than others. I will try brushing them in the shower I guess!
I've been visiting my family for the last week. Well, this morning I puked in my parents sink while brushing my teeth. It was disgusting. I don't usually get that sick. I usually just gag a lot!
This happens to me, pregnant or not... However, it seems that my gag reflex trigger moves up to, oh, halfway up my mouth when I am pregnant, instead of just behind my molars. Ugh. I feel your pain mama!
My SO really isn't happy about the move in my gag reflex!! I've been trying to tell him for weeks until I finally gave up and ended up vomiting all over his crotch! Take that SO!!
It happens to me every time a brush my teeth - it was HORRIBLE during the first trimester. I drink a couple of sips of water when I feel the gag reflex acting up, and it seems to force it to behave.
I just had a huge gagging episode after breakfast- I desperately wanted to avoid throwing up, which I'm thankful I was able to do, but now I'm nervous to brush my teeth!

13 weeks now and even though ms is better I still gag/throw up every time I brush. I'm booking a dentist appt ASAP to make sure no cavities. Never had them and not about to start now.
The first trimester, I would throw up every time I'd brush my teeth. Since I passed 14 weeks, I've been gagging but throwing up maybe twice a week. Hopefully it'll go away soon.
I have been using my sonicare, but I've switched back to my regular toothbrush a few times for that very reason. I used to brush in the shower, and I may go back to that since it sounds like it helps some of you
Yes, my gag reflex can take a flying leap as far as I am concerned! Sometimes it happens with the last bite of dinner or certain smell too. So not enjoying!
