fitness check-in 10/18

I weighed myself this morning. Not pretty. It's been a few weeks and I'm up 6 lbs. But that hopefully we'll just add more fuel to the fire.

High: I'm way more aware of my snacks. I walked everyday this week. I signed up for an exercise class that begins in two weeks.

Low: I haven't been recording my food everyday. I haven't done any weight training this week. There is cookie dough in my freezer and I need to throw it away!

  • I have been eating pretty horrible this week. I destroyed a Pizza Hut buffet yesterday then felt miserable the rest of the day. I've walked the treadmill a few times this week and did a workout video. My goal for the next week is to workout more and clean up my eating. I am up 2lbs from last week :(.

  • @superToots Do it, throw it away! lol I cannot keep stuff like that in my house or I will eat it. I have no self control when it comes to sweets.

    I have lost 3lb this last week. My eating has been ok. I messed up a few times. I had cheese sticks one day and rice another...whoops. But my portion control has been good and I have had no sweets.

    I only went to the gym twice and worked out at home once. Need to step that up.

    I have been super strict with food this week. Even on my "cheat day" I stayed within my calorie goal. Seriously tracking every.single.bite. Has been eye opening.

    I've also hit the treadmill twice and hope to get on again this afternoon when DH gets home and can watch LO. I've done some crunches and other floor exersizes numerous times everyday with LO playing on the floor next to me.

    Scale made me happy as it's showing a 2.5 drop. I don't get too hung up on the weight though as it fluctuates so much in a month. I'm going based on my stomach hanging over my jeans lol.

  • I got a stomach virus and couldn't eat for almost 3 days. I think a lost a pound or two. I am not happy how it happened, but I will take what I can get.

  • I am right under my per pregnancy weight but still have the poochy belly. I have tried to work out and failed each time this week. Just do not have the time. My goal is to order a new work out DVD and wake up earlier. But when you have a baby that refuses to sttn that is hard.

  • I gained 70 pounds while pregnant and did lose it all. I still have 10-15 to be at my ideal though. I find it hard at the end of the day to stop myself from grazing. I am tired and I know that doesn't help. Once I have a cup of tea at 2-3 pm, everything starts to go junto my mouth.

  • I have been in a plateau since 9/26. I'm so frustrated and it is so hard to not give up. 

    I gained 60-ish pounds during pregnancy (ew, I know) because I was unable to exercise and just ate whatever I wanted. I have lost 56 pounds so far by counting calories and exercising. 

    I was heavier than I wanted to be when I got pregnant, so I would like to lose about 20-30 more pounds.

  • Just completed level 1 of the 30 day shred. It's a lot harder than I remember. But I'm sweaty and on an endorphin high :-D cross your fingers I can grab a shower before the boys wake up!

    a little background, I am 5'6" and 41 years young. 

    My pre pregnancy weight was 210  My post pregnancy weight (at my 4 week appointment) was 180.    I cut out most of my sweets and pop intake by half and lost another 10 lb.  This week I just increased my water intake and dropped another 5 lb.  The only exercise I get right now is doing farm chores and going up and down the basement steps doing endless loads of laundry.

  • A little late here... I'm a little disappointed in myself. I did really well all week and lost 1.5 lbs. Then I bought a box of Halloween candy on Friday, which I have not been able to stay out of all weekend, and yesterday we went to a small party and I ate so much pizza and wings. It was delicious, but now I feel like I probably just destroyed any momentum I gained during the week. I'm avoiding the scale for this very reason. :(
  • @fireflyz56 just jump back into it. And hide the rest of your Halloween candy! I always get off track a little on the weekends, but Monday get motivated again.

    Similar here. I ate like crap on Saturday. Donuts (yes plural) for breakfast and dinner out with friends was horrible. I used that as motivation to get back on track today an eat extra well.

    Allow yourself a few pieces a day. Make it a special time thing. I have a cup of coffee and something sweet everyday when LO goes down or her afternoon nap. Makes it seem more special.
