Family disposition for Prom or PTL?

I had my son due to unexplained prom at 31wks. My sister (who was 33 wks along) delivered yesterday due to prom less than 12 hrs before. She too had been having a normal text book pregnancy, then bam, out of the blue.
Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? Is this just a fluke???

    I delivered at 36 weeks (also unexplained PROM), after a totally uneventful, low-risk pregnancy. Found out that my paternal grandmother was the same way (I don't have details, but an older relative told me "she just couldn't keep the babies in"), but my aunts have no kids, so I don't really know whether it's hereditary or just a fluke.
