NIP Fail

I should probably just post this on Whip it out Wednesday, but I feel a little post whorish at the moment.

I was nursing DD in the backseat in the Nordstrom parking lot, using the tank down, shirt up method.

When I got out of the car to walk into the store, it took me at least a minute to realize my boob was still out. Oops!

I don't think anyone noticed, or maybe they did. That little accident made me realize I am so much more comfortable NIP now. After I pulled my shirt back down, I was just "meh, I knew that would happen one day."

A month ago, I would have been horrified. It does get easier with practice.

    I totally answered the door with a boob out the other day. Thank goodness it was my mom. :-<

    Lmao!! That's awesome. Half of the time I forget to put my boob back in at home and SO will ask me if I knew I just had one boob hanging out.

    Oops no wonder it felt a little breezy ;)

    Somehow this reminds me of how when I nurse DD at my parents' and have her under blanket so no one can see anything, my dad will still hold up a pillow next to his face so he can't "see."

    He is legally blind.

    Lol! This made me think of one night when we had just brought DS1 home from the hospital...we had some friends over and ordered pizza. Needless to say as a first time mom I had no idea there was such a thing as nursing pads...
    I answered the door in a hot pink tank top DRENCHED in boob milk! Did I care? Absolutely not. However the look on his face was priceless. I said, "what??! I just had a baby" tipped and shut the door
