  We are on a dead end road, so no trick or treaters, but I still buy candy just in case I get a mix of chocolate that must contain Snickers.
  
  Here is A eating peaches and eggs. I have her peaches last night and this morning to help get some poop going (it worked!) and she grabbed the spoon from me and started feeding herself! I loaded the spoon for her and then she did the rest! She did pretty darn good too!

  QOTW: we don't do Halloween. The last two years Halloweens been cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy and a big storm the year before so we haven't had to prepare for it. This year, DH and I are going to a concert and my sister is babysitting for us in the hotel room. He's so little that he's not missing out!

  I have no idea how to post a pic, but I will answer the qotw...

  We hand out a mix of things - peanut free candy (DS has a peanut allergy) like Yorks, Junior mints, mini hershey bars that I hand out first; then little bags of pretzels, pirates booty, bunny grahams, and rice krispy treats so that if we have left overs, they can be used in the kids school lunches.  I also take all the peanut candy that we get trick or treating and add it to our bowl for the kids that come later.  In the past, I just took it out after DS was in bed.  This year, I may have to replace it with some of the peanut free stuff I bought - he is almost 5 so he really notices now!
