Ballygirl twins are here (long) PIP
I went in for my induction last Thursday night at 37w6d. Cervix was closed and I had a bad reaction to Cervidil so they switched me to Cytotek. 8 rounds or Cytotek later I finally started to dilate enough for the doctor to break my water on Tuesday. After that contractions got much more painful and I labored for a couple hours before getting an epi. A few hours after the epi, doctor noticed a couple dips on baby a's heart rate and I had stopped progressing, with dilation still only at 4 cm so he had me go in for a c section.
C section went ok although I was uncontrollably shaking the entire time. Haley and Elizabeth were born at 2:15 on October 15 weighing 5 lb 10 oz and 5 lb 15 oz.
They are pretty good latchers and we have been getting used to tandem breastfeeding right from the start. Recovery is going ok although I have a 'lazy bladder' after surgery and they had to recatheterize me yesterday because I still wasn't able to pee. Hopefully this will get cleared up today.

Oh- also we closed on our new house yesterday! Yay! (Because that is a totally sane thing to do the day after having twins) DH and my dad will be moving everything in next week while I and babies stay with my mom, then when everything's set up, we'll join DH at the new house!
