First appt today - Updated

My first appt with my OB is today.  I'm hoping they will at least do some blood testing and maybe an ultrasound.  I'm excited to at least be doing something, even if it's just an appointment, but I'm nervous as all get out.  Someone also needs to block Dr. Google from my laptop because I'm pretty sure I have at least 4 incurable diseases.   

 Update: Appointment went well. Timing of the appt was perfect. I'm on day 4 of my cycle so they were able to test for everything he wanted.   DH has a SA set for next Tuesday morning. They drew for FSH, LH, progesterone and TSH on me. I go back in 3 weeks to see if I ovulated this month and talk HSG depending on the results.

    Good luck at your appointment today! I would tell you to stay off Google, but then i'd be a hypocrite.  I think we all have diagnosed ourselves with something at some time or another.

    Yay for a good appt and getting the ball rolling on tests!

    Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
    2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
    BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
    RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
    ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    Glad your appointment went well. I was really glad to see your post I am in the same pace as you. My first appointment is next week. I have so many emotions about it. I am happy to finally get some answers (hopefully!). I am nervous about what they might find andi am sad that I am even at this point. Glad to have someone around in a similar place! Hope you get some good news soon!
