HSG this morning

Having my HSG this morning! I'm really nervous it's going to hurt! DH couldn't come with me so I'm on my own :( Wish me luck!!

    Just make sure you take your Motrin 30mins before. Hopefully it won't be too bad. If this your first procedure like this? I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty crampy and painful for me, but it literally lasted like 2mins, so by the time you this "Omg this is intolerable" it's done lol. So even if it is uncomfortable, it'll be over before you want to make a big deal about it. 


    Good luck! They'll tell you right there are any issues, so hopefully you be back with a great update later today.

    Good luck! I barely had any cramping with mine, so I'm sure you'll be fine! KUP!

    Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
    2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
    BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
    RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
    ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    Yes this is my first procedure like this. I've got my ibuprofen ready! I just did my pregnancy blood test (it's cruel that they make me do that!) and now I have to wait around for 2 hours until my HSG. I'm an hour away from home, so looks like I'll be doing some retail therapy for a while :)

    Good luck! You will be fine... I only had a little cramping, like tough menstrual cramps for a bit afterwards. Let us know how it goes.

    Well that sucked! It did hurt, but you were right Mrs Castillo, it was over in just a few minutes. My tubes werent blocked, so onto the next step I guess! Thanks everybody :)

    That's great @kndeckar!  Did they tell you there is a very high pregnancy rate in the 2 cycles following your HSG?!

    YAY! This is true I was told this too about it opening up the tubes... So get to it! You know when you can!!!
