The "I don't care" pregnancy symptom

Anyone else suffering from this? It's especially bad at work.

  • Omg. This, 1000%.

  • Yup...I so don't care! LOL. Also, I feel like on my days with appointments, I don't want to make ANY other plans. Then I think, its like 1 hour?? Still...weird

  • I actually just got put in bad standing at work because I really don't care :(
  • I don`t care about my work.   If they fire me, I would walk away with no stress. Anyway I got pregnant just after they hired me. The bloat came immediately, they noticed I`m pregnant and didn`t want to make me a work contract. So there is nothing official.

  • My dr took me off work 2 weeks ago(I'm 16 weeks) and I've been feeling like the laziest person ever! I haven't been doing much other than laundry for the past few weeks. Please energy come back!

This describes me 100%. I don't care about work, cleaning my house, doing laundry, cooking, taking care of my dog, you name it. I keep waiting for these magical 2 months of pregnancy where you supposedly have more energy!

    ~~Everyone Always Welcome~~

  • Oh, my gosh, yes! I'm so glad you posted this. I thought it was just me. It's especially bad because I have a full-time job and I run a small business on the side. I have to start caring again pronto!

  • I really need to snap out of it! Glad I'm not alone :)
  • Oh yes, completely. It's really hard because I'm in my last year of college (after 7 years of classes on and off) and I find myself not wanting to go to class, or daydreaming when I do go. I haven't done about 1/3 of my assignments because I've adopted the motto of "I only need a c to graduate" when I've always had a 3.8 or higher. It's pathetic, haha.

I still rocking out at work and the house is still clean, but I am one little class from my PhD. I'll finish in December and honestly haven't touched the data or started my final project. I better get it into gear soon!!! Once I'm home from work I just can't muster the energy to sit in front of the computer!
  • No makeup. None. Don't care.

I've taken to this on the weekends.

Me too - and I usually just rock a ponytail now instead of actually trying to do something with my hair.

My DS was having a hard time figuring out what to be for Halloween so he blurted out "I know Mom - I'll be you.  All I have to do is put my hair in a ponytail and wear yoga pants."

  • Yes 100%. My give a f*ck meter has decreased exponentially.

  • I told my husband in building a collection of beverage containers on my coffee table. And I always used to get on him for leaving wrappers around! I do not care.

Yes I am waiting for that second trimester sex drive we all hear about! Had it with my first but now I just want to sleep when I get in bed. So exhausted and could care less.

  • YES! I feel like I'm a senior in high school with senioritis again. I'm so over everything that's not baby related. I am having the hardest time being productive or really even getting ready in the morning. I just love sweatpants and ponytails lately.
