  I am using similac for spit up. It has helped with the reflux plus we've fed him sitting up and kept him up after feedings for 20 mins. But now he's constipated. We are considering switching to enfamil at bc I know people using it that love it.

  We've been supplementing with enfamil AR since 3 weeks (she's 9 weeks now). We tried similac first without success. Seems to really help with the spitting up. Definitely use the powder though! The ready to use was disastrous!

  Thanks ladies, my son had not been gaining any weight and lost 4 oz in 3 days so I hope this helps him. He will be weighed today so we will see how much he gained in a week.

  We use Enfamil AR after five other types of formula. She finally doesn't spit up and she's more comfortable sleeping flat in her bassinet and also sleeps longer. I hope you're able to find the right formula for your LO.

  For my DS's reflux we use Enfamil Newborn with rice cereal added to it. Plus he is to be on his stomach to sleep with whatever he is sleeping in elevated and inclined. His is 5 weeks old and have even doing it for 3 weeks now. It is definitely working since he weighed 9lbs 8oz at his 2 week visit and now he weighs 12lbs 2oz.

  We used Enfamil AR for our son and it worked well to help his discomfort.  However, he still vomited just as much (just a different consistency) and it did make him constipated (which is supposed to aggravate the discomfort of reflux).  The GI doc we saw at 4 months switched us to a Gerber formula to help ease the constipation.
