The docs say to go in when they are timeable (5min apart for an hour). No pain verbage...although I asked.
So I'm on bedrest, 1cm dialated, etc since 33w...I'm 35w, 4d today and while my water hasn't broken... I've been having timeable contractions off and on since yesterday, but the pain feels like menstral cramps...some hurt badly and others I could just breathe though, but I could deal at home.
I've been up since 430a with discomfort and timeable contractions.
For me, with DS... there was menstral cramping, which i went into the hospital for and since I was so far along (40w, 4d) they admitted me. Now, after my water broke (12hrs before DS was born) there is pain where whole body seizes up, and I am screaming for an epi.
Now they still say go in at a timeable 5min apart...but when would you go? When screaming or when you have menstral cramping? There seems to be no fricken answer as to the right time of when to go in, because I could be sent home, and dilated more...even though I'm a scheduled c-section. At 33w I had PTL which they stopped.
Re: **UPDATED** Currently I'm "laboring" at home.
