Doctor wwyd

So some of you may have seen my post below of the fake physician assistant, From what I understand she worked for 2 months with the doc and he hired her based on all her "documentation". She has never touched my daughter (though now that I think of it, I think I spoke to her on the after hours line about Tylenol dosage) I really like dr Ramirez and have had no issues with him.

It really concerns me though that a thorough background check wasnt done. Would you switch doctors because of this situation?

Re: Doctor wwyd

  • Honestly, yes, I would switch.  It would just always be in the back of my mind and I would worry about the other staff.  That is probably irrational, but . . .

You're with a pediatrician for so many years, you know?

  • I'd leave. There is no room for error when it comes to my kid. Sorry.

  • I would leave, for the reasons stated above. Andplusalso, from one MD resident to another, we have access to fabulous healthcare between Hopkins, UMD, etc.so in theory there are plenty of qualified candidates and practices.
