I'm KR.
DH and I have only been trying since March, but luckily I
was charting and was able to identify that I have a luteal phase
defect. Took my charts to my doctor after we'd been trying for 6 months
and showed her that my luteal phase was between 7 and 9 days long. She
put me on progesterone and that resulted in a chemical pregnancy (most
likely due to the fact that my progesterone levels were still somewhat
low). She decided that it was in our best interest for me to go see an
RE in case there is an underlying problem causing the low progesterone.
Unfortunately, his earliest appointment is November 27th so I have a
bit of a wait still.
I was pretty upset on Tuesday and
Wednesday, but I'm okay about it now. The due date would have been my
sister's birthday though, so I was looking forward to that.
I
posted on the trying to get pregnant board regularly when we first
started trying, but I don't post there as frequently anymore.
I'll be 30 in 2 weeks, DH is 33. We live in Houston.

is there any other RE's in your area? Once you start there is a lot of testing and sometimes it could be 2 cycles before you get a game plan so I would want to start asap.
My RE agreed to let my OBGYN do the initial testing so maybe that's an option? GL
