DS is 9.5 months old. What toys do you recommend or what toys did your LOs enjoy? He army crawls like a champ and has started trying to pull himself up, but hasn't figured it out 100%. Also, thinking ahead to toys for a 1 year old, what do you recommend? I'm starting to think about Christmas and birthday. TIA!

my daughter will be one on the 24th and I'm curious as to what kind of toys to get her as well. she is walking and has been for a month now but I have no clue what to get her

For the OP with a cruiser, things like push toy, activity cube, music tables are all possibilities. We have the M&D alligator push toy, the zany zoo activity cube, and the FP music table. DS is still cruising and he now walks with the alligator push toy like a pro (he even figures out how to turn that thing so I don't have to turn it for him every 10 seconds)!

He also LOVES any sort of cars/trucks/vehicles that he can push around, esp construction toy vehicles with parts that he can maneuver.

We have a couple of giant knob wooden puzzles, but we haven't give them to DS yet. They are for 1+ year olds.

DD (11 mo) & DS (2 yr) are both into the same toys right now. Shopping cart, doll carriage & doll, big push tractor, matchbox car and bigger SARS to push, trains (more DS), kitchen, guitar toy, balls

The Leapfrog Learn and Groove table is great for getting them to pull/stand up as well as keeping them entertained. You can take the legs off so they can play with it flat on the floor or put the legs on so they can stand and play. The bead maze tables are also great for teaching manual dexterity, motor skills, and encouraging them to stand. My DD at 4 still likes to play with the bead table with her brother.
