I am so excited! We have a big fundraiser for the animals this weekend and we are just about sold out of the tickets! We have NEVER sold out before! Lots of animals will be saved with the money we make so I am thrilled! The only crappy part is I have to be at the event at 6 in the morning on Sunday - all worth it!

PA - Love your update! So happy to hear about the outpouring of support from people! Sorry you have to wake up early, but on behalf of all the animals they THANK YOU! I do too!

AFM - My MIL was able to get off of a breathing machine in the ICU yesterday and she woke up from sedation. She called the ICU doctor the devil because she was hallucinating that she had died and was watching them all try to sell her body for profit. Just crazy! But we are glad to have her back "with us" and able to talk to her again. She's on her way!

I take my last BCP on Sunday, and if this is my last cycle ever, it might be my last BCP ever. I think I hate BCPs more than any other med in this whole thing. Good riddance, I'll do a happy dance!

AFM - not too much going on with me. I've been busy at work with annual planning for next year and that pretty much takes up all my time!

Update: My donor backed out, so I scheduled an ap with the ovum donor coordinator . It went well! She had someone in mind she would like to match us with. This person has done IVF in the past to conceive her baby, because her husband has MFI. She has also donated twice before and those donations have been successful. She is donating to help pay for her own cycles. So they know she’s fertile, and she is available to cycle in November.

They sent me her profile; we look like we could be related. I like her, but I want to view a few other profiles, so I have requested to see five other profiles. I’m guessing they will not be emailed until Monday, as the coordinator will be oot for the rest for the week.
I hope to make a decision by the end of next week. I want to get this party started!!

~PAIF Response~

AFM- I am on bed rest until next Tuesday. I've got a SCH and the RE would rather be safe, so no work for me! I am a horrible bed rester so it's quite a challenge for me to sit and not do anything around the house. The good news is that we got to see our little bean on Monday measuring 5w6d and had a nice strong flicker of a heartbeat!

AFM... worked from 7 to 7 today with a moody co-worker, feeling pretty spent. Currently curled up on the couch with our pup and some wine. On the IF front... we have our WTF appt next week. Looking forward to figuring out our next step.

AFM: Not much .... I do have a vent though. This one girl I work with (shes in customer service and I'm admin.) went on vacation for the like 3rd time since I started there in February. Every time she goes away something prevents her from coming back on her scheduled day to return. Why should I imagine this would be different.....I'm covering her opening shift so I have to be there at 7am all this week now because "her car is broke". Times before, the weather was bad/was too late when she got in & she got sick from her trip and couldn't come in. Same girl also will be seemingly fine when I say good morning at 8am but an hour later "goes home sick" and I have to cover phones. Why can't people just work??? I sit through stroke like migraines where I can't feel my hands but I still am typing letters (they don't make sense since I cant see or feel my fingers, LOL ) and others can just say oh I'm sick **cough cough** I have to go home. Grrrr.

Glad to see some good updates and hugs to those that need them!

AFM: Still chugging along. I'm 14w6d today. Had an appt with Dr KK's office this week for labs, an u/s and IVIg. Baby A is measuring 2 days ahead and B is measuring ahead by 1. Blood flow looks great so I get to just take every other day lovenox for now. We weaned off all the hormones except for the oral prometrium, which they think I'll be on for a couple more weeks. Next plan is to start weaning my prednisone. I have to go back Friday for more labwork, but then I get to reduce my dose so it's worth the drive. They were concerned because my WBC count is elevated, but I know that can be from the prednisone. They're gonna check some more labs just to be safe. I went last week for my NT scan with the OB, still waiting on results on that then see them again on the 30th.
