Sweet Pea is 3 months old, and is hating going to sleep. She's giving me all the cues (rubbing her red eyes, fussing, not interested in anything) but is not falling asleep.
I've tried nursing, cuddling, wearing, white noise, sitting in a dark quiet room, rocking, combinations of all these things but she's not having any of it. It's been like this for the past week and I'm going nuts.
Today we also drove to the mountains, and she had 2 two hour naps.
Any suggestions... Right now I'm all out, and lying in bed with the hair dryer track from happiest baby on the block going, while she stares at me with wide eyes, and occasionally bleats at me. I'm starting to lose my mind from exhaustion.
Re: Sleep help
Me-36, Unexplained Infertility, DH-35, all clear
Clomid 50mg 12/2011 = BFN
Clomid 100mg 1/2012 = BFN, with Cyst
IVF #1 Lupron/Menopur/Gonal-f/HCG Trigger
ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized,
ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!!
All these times are WAY approximate - it's more a rhythm than any sort of schedule, but she seems to do best when she's never awake for more than about 2.5/maaaaybe 3 hours at a time. On days when she skips a nap, or is up for 4 hours in a row, all hell breaks loose and it's much harder to get her to go to sleep at bedtime, or stay asleep for more than a few hours.
