VBAC possible? Long

Hi just started following this board. DH and I are going to start TTC baby #2. Don't know what made me think about a VBAC, but I started looking into it. I was looking at the criteria. I went into labor on my own, DS weighed 6lbs 10oz, progressed to 10cm + on own, they did brake my water. I couldn't get DS too pass my pubic bone. You were able to see his head, hair and him start to pass, but then slide back up. I have a tear in my hip which I had for years with no problems during pregnancy. I did have a epidural and have mild scoliosis so they placed the epidural on my left side. My bad hip is my right. During the time when I had to push I had extreme pain in right leg the same as when my hip bothers but not as intense. To the point where i was hysterical crying and couldn't move my leg. I was able to feel almost everything on right leg and nothing on left. Now I don't know if the epidural was on my right if everything would have been ok. They wanted me to deliver vaginally. They tried increasing the epidural which back fired I felt nothing so numb and couldn't push at all. So c-section. Not sure if I should even think about VABC.

    Pushed for about 1.5-2 hours. I had to keep stopping due to pain in my leg. They wanted to try and vacuum him out too. Which I was very scared for.

    Hi. I also had a c-section for dd#1. It took 4 months for my cut to heal. ever since i've been a vbac guru lol. I would tell you to do lots of research. contact your local ICAN chapter. depending on the area they normally have a fb page. read alot of vbac birth stories. Don't give up. If you believe you can... Do it. Also take a look at your doctor history of vb, cs, & vbac. that sometimes helps. good luck.

    My OB now is a different one then with DS. During my pregnancy with DS my old OB went on a leave of absence from my second trimester on so I say who ever in the office due to my schedule at work. I had to take what I could get. So the dr who did my section was the on call dr. Next time I want to try and not let that happen if I can
