On my phone so this will be short, but one of the twin's amniotic sacs prematurely ruptured over the weekend without any warning signs (my cervix is still at a 2, no contractions, etc.). I was airlifted to my mfm's hospital and nearest nicu. They've been able to stop contractions so far, and are just trying to buy both babies a little more time for development, but it's just day to day at this point. I'll be 32 weeks tomorrow, so overall outlook is still positive, but more time inside is always better.
Married 8/2008. IVF with PGD March 2013.
3/22 ER: 25R, 20M, 15F. 9 genetically normal, and 3 survived to Day 5
3/27 ET: transferred 1 embryo, beta 9dp5dt=163, 12dp5dt=639
4/25 1st ultrasound at 7 weeks = identical twins with heartbeats?!!!
PPROM at 31w, delivery at 32 weeks of two beautiful girls

    That must have been so scary. Thank goodness it sounds like your doctors are taking care of you! I will be thinking of you and your little ones. Here's hoping they stay in for awhile still!

    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    T&P for your LOs. I'm glad they got you to the NICU quickly and can monitor you until they deem it right to deliver.  I don't know if you saw my response to some posts this week, but a friend of mine just went through a similar situation and ended up having her c-section on Monday at 30 weeks b/c one of her twins' placentas deteriorated.  Both babies are growing stronger every day in the NICU.  Best wishes for your LOs.  The NICU nurses will take good care of them!

    oh wow... i'm glad they have been able to stop the contractions so far.... how scary that must have been!  sending positive thoughts your way that they will remain cooking for awhile longer!  thinking of you!

    IVF #2 (antagonist) May 2013, First BFP of my life. 
    Identical twin miracle BOYS (!!) headed our way- due date is technically 2/4/14 but c section is scheduled for 1/7!

At 32 weeks you are okay, the babies will be okay if they come early...especially since you had time and are in a great hospital. Take good care and rest up. A friend of mine had her amniotic sac rupture early and they were able to maintain the pregnancy for another 6 weeks. Stay strong. I'm praying for you and I know you'll keep us updated if you can. Huge hugs...
    | Married since 2008 | DH and I: Both 30 | Me: Endometriosis and Carrier of an X-Linked Dominant Genetic Disorder | DH: Low Morph | Planning IVF with PGD and PGS in 2013 | Freeze-All IVF #1: March 2013 ER 3/26. 29R, 12M, 11F. 4 5AA frozen blasts. Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013 ER 5/15. 31R, 21M, 20F. 6 5AA frozen blasts. Our PGD probe was completed in late June (total of 20 weeks to develop). PGD and PGS Results came on 6/19: 3 healthy embryos (normal chromosomes and unaffected by my family's genetic disorder). FET #1: July 2013 Natural Cycle - Cancelled due to insufficient lining (only got to 7.5mm). FET #1.2: August 2013 - Medicated Cycle with Lupron & Estrogen Patches to build up lining. Single embryo transfer was 8/23. Beta #1: 240! Beta #2: 578! U/S on 9/19 at 6w4d: We saw the heart beating at 131bpm. Second U/S on 10/4 at 8w5d: We saw the heart beating at 178bpm. EDD 5/11/2014

    5w3d loss 7/30/10 - EDD March 2011

    4w c/p loss 10/29/12 - EDD July 2013

    Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid, more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
    RPL testing all normal, Karyotyping normal

    Moving on to IVF.

    IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy

    Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
    IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
    FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
    Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14

    Thinking of you!! My friend prematurely ruptured at 29 weeks with di/di twins and is still pregnant- 36 weeks tomorrow. She has had to remain at the hospital as twin a (baby with ruptured sac) has a severe cardiac anomaly. Good luck!!!
