I shared this with my BMB but thought I would put it here as well..

I jotted down some notes on my phone so this is basically it:
10/12/13 - 4:15pm lost mucus plug/bloody show
Contractions started 8:30pm, by 11 they were 3-5 min apart.
Went to hospital midnight the 13th
Only 2cm by 9am (contractions HURT.. natural mamas, you are special)
Epidural 9:30am
**ETA: I almost forgot, they broke my water..I think right after my epidural**
They gave me the smallest dose of pitocin which was all I needed to really get things moving.
4cm by 11:30am
6cm by 1pm
Next check (forget what time) fully dilated, we waited a little for him to move further down, I pushed for 10min, he arrived at 3:46 pm on the 13th (one day early). They used forceps to help him out.
9 lbs 21 1/4 inches
3rd degree tear, but recovery is going ok so far.

Getting to experience watching him come out, never having to leave his side, getting immediate skin-to-skin contact, was all so amazing. All the stuff I missed out on last time. No idea what to expect recovery-wise, pretty sore but mostly more comfortable so far than after my CS... but the delivery itself was already so worth it.
