If people who work in the healthcare industry (including those who don't come into direct contact with patients) refuse get the flu, they should be fired.  

This excludes anyone who has a legitimate medical reason to not get the shot.  

You don't get the shot because of religious reasons?  Too bad.

You don't get the shot because ingredients?  Too bad.

You don't get the shot because Great Aunt Tillie told you once that the shot is full of nanobots?  Too bad.  

You're fired.

    I still haven't gotten my flu shot yet.  

    Dh and the girls did. 

    HERD IMMUNITY. 

    (Don't worry, I'm getting mine as soon as I figure out which grocery store takes my insurance so I get a discount on groceries as well as not getting the flu.  Multi-tasking!)

    I totally forgot about the flu shot clinic at our pedi a few weekends ago and didn't show for the kids appt. I feel like as ass.

    Technically I work in the "Healtcare" industry as part of Big Pharma. Do I have to get a flu shot in the NWO?

    (I get one just cuz they are provided free by my company with zero effort on my part)

    If he feels yucky for a day, it's not the Flu. Real Flu lasts about a week and knocks you off your feet.

    I'm talking more about people who work at hospitals, healthcare clinics, etc. 

    I don't consider Big Pharma to be the "healthcare industry", really.

    Use Safeway! That way you get the gas discount as well. ;)

    They should invent some sort of device so that you can communicate with people easier without having to actually stop by. Like you just push buttons and then you can talk to them or something.

    I got my flu shot last week. DS got his last week as well, at his 9 month appt with the pedi. I just harrassed DH and told him he needs to get his tomorrow when he gets out of work before he even comes home.
