FF mommas - come on in!

so I'm weaning DS2 from BM to FF and the past week he's been eating almost a whole 6oz bottle 3 times a day. 
is 18 oz enough per day? plus 3 meals and a few snacks here and there

he's getting one in the morning one before nap after lunch and one to bed.

should he get one more  during the day?

    DD gets a 6 oz bottle at approx 7, 10, 1, 4, 7 and she eats 3 meals a day of solids. She doesn't always finish the bottles but I always offer 6 oz. she is 9 months old

    We just changed from pp schedule to a 6oz bottle at 7, 11, 3, and 7 then 3 meals a day. If LO doesn't seem hungry and is gaining I would not worry about it.

    Our pedi said at least 20 ounces a day. My twins drink about 26 ounces a day.

    My DD drinks 3 8oz a day. She also eats solids 3 times a day with a sippy of water throughout the day.

    TTC for 1.5 years with a crappy RE. 12 cycles with clomid (11 too many)
    New RE, 3 failed IUI's moving to IVF with ICSI

    so what do you do at 4am!? DS2 is still getting up early. should i make him a bottle then? i would love to sleep train him a bit but don't really believe in CIO

    do DS2 had dinner (not much come to think of it) and then a 6oz at 7 at was out for the night.
    woke up at 11!!! cried for a while as i tried just rocking him but he wouldn't settle. gave him a 6oz bottle and he INHALED it...he was suckin air out of that thing in no time. apparently he was hungry......
    up at 5 and had about 4 of the 6 oz from that bottle and now eating breakfast. 
    i'm going to try at least one more bottle per day the next few days and see how that goes.

    Gerber recommends 24 ounces a day, so that's what we're doing with DD until I can ask pedi at her next appt. Some people say 32 ounces, some say 18, one of DH's friends is only giving her baby one 6-8 ounce bottle a day. I guess just follow hunger cues and make sure LO is gaining weight, just not too much weight (but you might see the weight pick up a little bit since switching from BM to FF, they just don't process it the same).

    My DS has 4 bottles/day....7, 12, 4,7 He drinks about 24-26oz. He just saw his pediatrician today who said that was perfectly fine. I'm sure he could cut one of those out soon.
