We took Camden down to visit our family this past weekend and we heard a few weird suggestions/wives tales from various family members
1. Rubbing the bottom of baby's foot will cause them to stutter
2. Holding a newborn too much makes them sore
My crazy grandma had the following advice:
1. "Go put him in the pool now because then he will learn to swim. I took your uncle to the community pool when he was a newborn and would walk around and dip him. He has always been a swimmer. He swam for nine months so the water won't bother him."
2. "I fed all of my kids cereal in their bottles when they were one week old and they all slept wonderfully. The up every two hours did not work for me."
What is the strangest/worst wives tale/advice you have heard lately?
Re: Advice People Give...
I have also heard that babies get sore easily. But not from being held to much as being passed around too much. No clue if its true.
After almost 3 years of IF and a crazy roadside delivery, we are loving life with our second beautiful daughter!
