UPDATED Great U/S today but now freaking out

So I had an indepth u/s today with a high risk dr. Everything looked great and is on track. Left there feeling on top of the moon. Then this evening I use the restroom and bright red blood. Wth?!

With DS1 I bled from 8 weeks until 13 weeks and he was fine, but with this one it still doesnt make it any less scary. Im laying down and will call the doctor in the morning. Please spare some CALM DOWN dust my way.

UPDATED. Im still spotting and it keeps changing from red to brown with some mild cramping. Dr. put me on bedrest until it subsides. The good news is that the u/s results showed everything perfect and no source of the bleeding. The bad news is not having an answer. Anyway my doppler will be here friday. Until then i will try and not freak out. Thanks for all your kind thoughts.

I'm so sorry for all of this stress. I had bright red bleeding/ spotting through most of 2nd tri. It's so terrifying and unfair. Many hugs and good thoughts being sent your way!!

Did they do an internal u/s? Maybe they just irritated your cervix. ((Hugs)) to you. I hope by morning all the bleeding is gone!

@kmc it was a belly u/s. the tech was pushing down hard and wiggling around on my belly to get baby to move for a better pic.

Ugh - I'm so sorry you're having to deal with bleeding. Scary for sure! Lots of "chill out" dust coming your way, along with some prayers. So glad everything looked wonderful in the U/S!

I'm sorry you're going through this and hope everything turns out alright. Hopefully they can get you in for another ultrasound soon just to check on the bleeding. Huge hugs.

That's so hard. I also bled on and off between 8-13 weeks with no explanation. After 2 neurotic trips to L&D I finally just learned to cope with it. Slowing down and putting my feet up helped, but with a toddler running around I'm sure that's not really possible! (((hugs)))
