We are doing a family party but that will be about 30 people including cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We are doing a Thomas and Friends theme I think. I am excited because I hope he realizes that it is his "big day".
I'll be 36 weeks pregnant, so I'm definitely not doing anything big. We're taking cupcakes to his school and then having a small gathering at a local indoor playground area. Theme will probably be an Elmo pizza party.

I will be about 34 weeks pregnant, but am planning a birthday party for DD with one of my best friends here who also happens to have a DS Emma's exact age. They will be having a joint birthday party to help make it a little easier on the both of us because we are both pregnant.
We are having it an indoor soft play and the theme will be winter animals
We are basically barely doing anything, G b-day falls on thanksgiving weekend this year and so we are having a small party at DH's parent's house the day after thanksgiving and then another small one at my parents on Sunday.
TTC#1 May 2009- July 2010 on our own with no luck
Started with RE in August 2010, dx with unexplained IF and then finally our 3rd IUI cycle using Follistim and Trigger resulted in our wonderful little man. Born 12/2/11
TTC#2 Never really prevented, but were careful early on as Dr. reccomended
Surprise BFP 12/16/13, started progesterone immediately as first numbers came back low, but betas were good. Progesterone wasnt enough. Natural MC 12/24/13.
DS's birthday is December 30th, think we'll just do something small with family and maybe a couple friends in the area but not going too crazy with decorations. I don't think he really will understand what is going on till next year. I think he'll be a lot more into Christmas since he already loves looking at all the lights at Target
Probably not doing anything. All of our family is too far away. They all traveled here for her 1st birthday and I don't expect them to come every year. We don't have very many friends here either.

My girls birthdays are a week a part and right around Thanksgiving (DD1s is 2 days before and DD2s is one week after). We're going to be in San Diego visiting my husband's family for Thanksgiving so, we'll do one small family party for both girls there, and then we'll do a small party with our local friends and my mom (about 10 guests) the first weekend of December. DD1 wants a Little Mermaid cake, so we'll do that for the SD party (a local friend is going to make it). I don't know what we're going to do for the local party. I might have DD2 pick a design at the grocery store bakery.
We didn't have a party for his 1st birthday, so i wanted to do something this year. We will invite our friends from 2 playgroups and meet them at a park with playground and make a giant playdate out of it. I'll bring some cupcakes and stuff, but it's not a typical party with a theme and favors and all that stuff.
I've been thinking but no concrete plans yet. I have always been a big birthday / holiday person. DS's 2 fave things right now are Elmo & trains (Thomas in particular, but he loves all things transportation really.)
We will be doing a fairly large party, but it's only bc our immediate families are huge and we are all very close. We will have probably 40-45 people, including the kids. Ds isn't really into anything in particular per se but he does like dinosaurs, so we will have a dinosaur theme. I will be making the cake myself since I've discovered I can do them (my mom begged for a cake that was shaped like a dslr camera this year, and when none of the usual cake ladies would do it, dh's cousin and I tackled it and it turned out amazing!). So I'm going to try to pull off a Dino now! I haven't started buying decorations yet, but I have lots of ideas and think it'll be fairly easy (yes, I'm the crazy mom that always goes overboard but I LOVE planning and decorating so I actually enjoy it more than the kids I think lol). I'm really quite excited to get going on it!

We are having a party with just my family (mom, dad, sister & her fam), DH's mom and stepdad, and our old neighbors- they are like family. No big bash here.
