Sweet baby jesus. I cannot keep anything down. I need suggestions on foods that made you guys not feel sick. I miss not vomiting water at 3:30 am. I just don't want to go to work for an IV and a banana bag.
30 weeks here and still battling morning sickness. Zofran and reglan twice a day is all I can keep down some days. And ginger ale. Never once sick with my first but these two from week 8 until now buttered toast is a staple. Plain oatmeal as well...

Yes, whoever decided to call it "morning" sickness is an ass. Mine was all fricken' day too! I never did actually vomit, but the smell of food would make me turn green. I did get some Peppermint Essential Oil. I'd place a drop on the back of my hand and then lick it off. It got rid of the sick feeling for about 2 hours. (roughly) I was able to eat and drink just fine. I did overdo it though and now, even though the sickness has passed, the smell of peppermint is disgusting to me. For me, as long as I didn't have to think about what I was going to eat I was fine. My dear, sweet, loving husband learned that if he'd just cook something and put it in front of me I could eat. When he'd ask what I wanted, I wasn't able to eat. It was weird. But, like I said, I never actually vomited and was able to keep things down, but there were times that if I had to think about it there was no way it was going to happen.
I wish you luck, and keep in mind that it WILL pass eventually. Oh, the essential oil was suggested by my OB, so it wasn't one of those weird internet myths. It may or may not work for you. Please, don't buy a huge bottle like I did. I think I have enough for the entire state if they all got pregnant! I'm throwing it out though, seriously can't stand the smell anymore!
I literally will ne Dr have another baby bc my morning sickness was so bad.... it was the WHOLE time!!!! I'm one month post partum now and 10 pounds under pre pregnancy weight bc I lost so much! So I guess thats an advantage
After three miscarriages and one ectopic pregnancy we are currently pursuing adoption.
" Born not from our flesh, but born in our heart. You were longed for and wanted and loved from the start."
I'll be watching this thread as I'm dealing with it right now too....funny enough I can eat nachos and queso too....which seems very strange to me! Lots of buttered toast or toast with melted cheese...hope its better for you soon!
I started with all day sickness at 6 weeks. I found the only thing I could eat was fruit and greasy things. I ended up in the hospital at 10 weeks for IV fluids because I was down 10lbs and couldn't keep anything down (not even water). My OB finally gave me diclection (Canadian version of Zofran) which helped take the edge off enough for me to eat and drink water. I was sick my entire pregnancy
I was sick for all but the last two weeks of my pregnancy. As bad as it is for you, something carbonated was the only thing that would settle my stomach somewhat. I had a nice routine of Zofran going, but all it did was take the edge off. I was still throwing up multiple times a day. Good luck and I hope you can find something that works for you.
Ugh, I'm so sorry you're going through this as well. They're speculating that it is the pregnancy hormones that make us so sick, and of course, with twins, we get a double dose Seriously ask for Zofran. Even when it only took the edge off, that was better than nothing. For me, it was amazing. At 13 weeks, my nausea is starting to slow down. Mashed potatoes seemed to work, along with the mexican others have mentioned. Ramen noodles, and for some strange reason, Pick Up Stix noodles? I literally would have my hubby bring those home and eat them for lunch daily for the next four days
Something else I'm dealing with now is environmental triggers. I'm already super sensitive to things because of severe migraines. We're isolating me away from different things in the house because something here is making me horribly ill. We THINK we have it narrowed down to our Sumo bean bags which are stuffed with 100% high grade urethane foam. Egads, I hate being oversensitive ><

I ate a lot of starchy things and when I was so sick that I didn't want to eat anything I would drink a smoothy just to have something in my stomach.
