I'm a little bummed, I like us

I'm sad that people out there actually hate us. I really love 99% of the ladies on here, you're smart, silly, sassy, sexy, and tough. I know this board can be overwhelming (it took a long time for me to post semi-reg) but I still just don't see the hate. Hate!?
I realize some of you are all "fuck 'um and the minivan they rode in on" and really the lack of love from strangers on the internet isn't keeping me up at night, I'm just surprised at the level of distain.
I hope some of the buzzers that are lurking will continue to lurk until the craziness dies down and see how awesome this board can be.

(I'm posting this with one hand while up late b/c kiddos are up sick so please excuse grammar & text errors)

    Yeah I like yall too. I just have a much harder time keeping up with the pace of this board now that my son is mobile.

    BTW when ya'll call them Buzzers, I read it as Buzzards so can we just change it to Buzzards? :D

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    I completely agree! I'm not a super regular poster, but I've never felt unwelcome at all. There's such a diverse group of women (and some dudes too) who are hilarious & who can also engage in great debates. It's a great balance!

    I love it here & look forward to checking back every day.

    Just like in real life, there are going to be lots of people who just don't fit with lots of other people.  It's just a little easier here to quickly figure out who belongs in what group because all we do is talk, so differing opinions (and asshole tendencies) show up real fast :)

    I must not be reading this well. Sounds odd.
    Is my coffee not kicking in fast enough?  I was just saying, basically, that we can't be bothered when people don't like us because it's no different than real life.  But in real life it just probably takes a little more time to gradually figure out who does and doesn't fit in with certain groups of people.  Here the questions and answers come fast so the differences are pretty evident right away and make quick work of deciding who is like minded.

    I see what you're saying, but I don't care either way. I think those that want to stay will and those that want to stir the pot will fade out over time.

    One positive thing from the buzz invasion is that no one complained of the board being slow, even on the weekend.

    I posted yesterday that I think parenting is one of the most fun, laid back boards.
    It just doesn't sound like a good culture fit for them I guess. I'm not sure what they've been posting about on their board as it relates to hating parenting, but I will say a fair number of us were pretty vocal with criticizing their board culture (the no swearing or snark stuff) and accused them of having sticks up their asses. Putting myself in their shoes, it probably made them defensive.
    Parenting is an awesome board and I wouldn't worry about them "hating" us. Chalk it up to culture shock.
